Observing the erotic feminine through a surreal lens Sophia Schorr-Kon blends collage, chiaroscuro, photography and performance to create works that question and explore sensuality, and the relationship we and society have to it.

Her works are a way to alchemise emotive states, taking an inner journey and externalising it through symbolism.  She bridles wild beauty to soften the sharper edges of her explorations within the collective subconscious. Her works are all hand made, and employ illusion, magick and invites the observer to join her within her sacred frame and the illusions she creates.

Bringing light to the shadows is part of her practice and Sophia dances between the two in life and in her work. Sophia believes Art is alchemy, and each piece she creates is a talisman that carries intuitive wisdom and an active message for those that choose to live with her pieces. 

Sophia also works a a Soulful Doula supporting conscious conception and creative expansion through the frequency of the sensual. She also uses her voice to support the expansion of pleasure in herself and others is the creator and host of The Modern Erotic. Her sonic hub inviting pleasure pioneer from around the globe to share their pleasure wisdom and meander through the eclectic and sublime landscape of the Erotic.
